Faeth Millinery is a New York based bespoke millinery studio founded by designer Ashley Ruprecht. All Faeth hats and headpieces are handmade in New York with the finest materials and classic millinery techniques, many including hand-sewn sweatbands, binding and trim.  Each hat is sewn or hand-blocked by a skilled milliner and overseen by the designer and does not leave the studio before passing through her hands.  Each hat or headpiece has a production time of 6-8 weeks unless otherwise stated.

All Faeth Millinery sweat bands and grosgrain trim are made of 100% cotton and dyed with Japanese vegetable oil inks. We choose vegetable oil based inks (derived from soy, palm and other vegetable oils) as the environmentally friendly, sustainable alternative to traditional petroleum and chemical based dyes.  We are always looking to limit our use of chemicals, lacquers and plastics in our products for our customers and for the environment. We also uses 100% silk and sustainable bamboo in our scarves and headbands. Bamboo is an easily renewable resource because of its rapid growth rate. It requires 1/3 the amount of water that cotton uses to grow and has no natural pests. This means that bamboo can be grown with little to no use of pesticides or herbicides.

Faeth Millinery has the ability create bespoke or custom hats, headbands, bridal veils or headpieces.  If you are interested in ordering a custom piece or making an appointment with the studio, please fill out the form on our CONTACT page or email us at info@faethmillinery.com.
